A Crazy Little Thing Called Love

14-year-old Nam is your typical unattractive nerd girl getting by through her early years of adolescence from getting good grades, peer pressure, and most of all, first love. For awhile, she has been secretly in love with an older boy in her school, Chon, who also happens to be the school’s most popular boy. Like all the other girls, Nam goes through the silly methods of getting the boy of her dreams to notice her, such as following advices of her childhood friends, advices from those silly “how to” books and even worked her way to changing her appearance from a shy four-eyed girl in to a young woman that even other boys begin to notice her. But will all this hard work Nam has gone through be enough for Chon to finally notice her existence?

All of Thailand fell in love with the charm and simplicity of this “ugly duckling”-type of teen romance comedy, and in turn, this movie also became popular in the Philippines and in some parts of Asia.
