[OPINION] PBB Unlimited: Desperate Moves To Save Favored Loveteam? {Comments Off}

Each episode of this reality show is now showing utter desperation in saving its favored housemates.

First was Deniesse, who until videos of her violations quickly spread like wildfire, was being tolerated despite being one of the least deserving people left in the game. Her forced eviction was probably done by production management as an act just to save face. Otherwise, Carlo would have been the one evicted.

Now, since Kevin is one of the nominees up for eviction, the people behind the show are again pulling all the stops in redeeming his image, from being the third party in the Pamu-Renz relationship. Why? To try and save their last favored “loveteam” after the failed Biggel-Tin pairing.1 It baffles me, as well as thousands of viewers, why Pamu and Kevin need to be featured in almost every episode of Unliday and Unlinight. What kind of message does it tell PBB viewers? That love conquers all? Bullshit! Kevin has not even professed to Pamu that he loves her. All he has said was he “likes” Pamu. Even if he did, he sure doesn’t go all out in showing it!

Kevin had the perfect opportunity to show that he genuinely cares about Pamu—that instance when Kigoy blatantly and deliberately bashed Pamu’s being a two-timer (see video clip HERE ).

The way I see it, that would have been the one instance for him to really show Pamu and the viewers what he’s made of. But does he do anything about it? Does he confront Kigoy and tell him off? Nope. Why? Because he does not have the balls to do it. He doesn’t have the backbone to stand up for what he believes is right… probably because he KNOWS that what they’re doing is WRONG! He cannot even defend his supposed “love interest.”  Kevin is just a pretty boy… nothing more, nothing less. Does he have substance? Maybe… but he surely has not stepped up to the plate yet. He plays it safe. He is scared to go against the majority because he fears being nominated (and possibly evicted). Does that show strength of character? Definitely not!

Another food for thought… one PBB insider (the same one who negated the complaint about Deniesse’s whispering violation) said this on Twitter:

If that’s the case, then Kevin violated that rule… and this video clearly shows how he mouthed the words: “…this BITCH is so annoying! Grabe…Goddammit!”—watch this:

So… will this be negated as well? Or will the production and editing team make another excuse to make it look like it is different than what it really is? Another cover-up, if you ask me…

Pamu is another story altogether. She is pretentious,2 an opportunist, and doesn’t have a backbone when it comes down to decision-making. She struggles between being herself and trying to please others—most of the time the latter wins by a landslide. Her being known as the “camwhore” (Kigoy was the original in this particular season) is now biting her in the ass big time. Thanks to her exposure-greedy attitude, the cameras (and viewers) capture those defining moments that can either make or break her… and fortunately, her true ugly character is beginning to surface. See video clip HERE.

In my previous article [refer to OPINION article entitled: PBB's Pamu: Violations Queen #2] there were videos showing Pamu violating some provisions of the PBB Rule Book: (1) Talking under hidden places like beddings, tables and beds, and (2) Housemates must follow Big Brother at all times. —Kuya specifically instructed both Pamu & Kevin to NOT talk about the Kevin-Renz encounter outside of the confession room. Now little miss camwhore has done it again. This time, she asked about the outside world! In the first video, Pamu asks Franzen about the people’s perception of her in the outside world:

Here’s the transcript of the conversation above:

PAMU: ano ba yong sinabi mo kanina na hindi natuloy yung tungkol sa tingin sa ‘kin sa labas?

FRANZEN: bakit, di ko naman sinabi ah..

PAMU: oo nga, di mo nga sinabi  kaya napapa-isip tuloy ako..

FRANZEN: eh di gusto mo sabihin ko sa ‘yo?

PAMU: (nods her head)

The 2nd video below shows how Pamu asks Baron about what is currently happening with former PBB housemate John Pratts (and his rumored GF Bianca Manalo):

Wow! Pamu has really outdone herself this time… and possibly even ex-housemate Deniesse! Now is this what the PBB staff wants to show off as one of their “deserving” housemates? One who is an attention-whore (another Tricia Santos?), a two-timer, a backstabber, and one who disrespects rules? If she was indeed REAL or “nagpapakatotoo,” she should have stood up to Kigoy when he was heckling her about her lovelife. She should have stood by her decision of choosing Kevin over Renz. The argument isn’t over whether it is right or wrong. The argument is why can’t Pamu be true to herself and be honest about it with Kevin. It’s just sad that she couldn’t even fend for herself… which solidifies the argument that she is a weakling and has no backbone. In the second vid where the other M6 were grilling her for the same issue, she stutters countless times and is just being defensive while Kevin just sat there doing nothing. What a pair of weaklings.

If PBB is supposed to teach her to be herself and stay true to her character, then Pamu isn’t anywhere near being the ideal Big Winner. So why the hell is she still there for? Simple. She is just riding on the magic carpet ride that the other housemates and maybe as Kuya’s “pet”  have provided for her. A user. Period.

PBB management should really think twice before doing any more attempts to save this pairing because even if they do survive till Big Night, the show’s credibility would have already been tarnished for good. With that said, good luck to the next season of PBB Teen Edition—the show’s disrespect for public opinion will have already preceded them… and ratings will be expected to hit an all-time low—if it hasn’t already. What a shame…
