PBB Unlimited: 6th Eviction Night and the Intensity 7 WIPEOUT Aftershocks {Comments Off}

After a series of roller coaster events that greatly affected all of our housemates, the infamous Intensity 7 WIPEOUT Week has finally come to an end. Fourteen housemates have already been completed and the remaining housemates finally met the end of their run as this season’s official housemates. In the meantime, while the housemates who were at the bottom list based on the viewers’ voting, the first ten admitted to the Top 14 were given a special weekly task that would unite both Team WAYUK and Team HIGH VOLTAGE together as one group and succeed in this task for their weekly budget next week.

Now that the Intensity 7 WIPEOUT has ended, the unlimited twists and surprises does not end there. Kuya had just announced that a series of aftershocks will bee thoroughly announced as time passes. What these aftershocks may be we will find out in the near future.

House Battle Standings

Because of the Intensity 7 WIPEOUT Week procedures, there were no contra battles (both mini-contras and major contras) held between the two teams. This particular week was more of the individual survival of all housemates.

Please refer to the House Battle Standings section at the PBB menu tab above to see the results of their weekly task.

6th Eviction Night

Intensity 7 Evictees

The caption for the Intensity 7 WIPEOUT Week is “Matira, Matibay”1. The remaining housemates who did not receive enough votes to be saved by the viewers had to go through a series of tasks that not only involve themselves but also involve the housemates who were already admitted to the first Top 10 of the Top 14. From the beginning, we were clear that the remaining housemates will be 7 housemates from Team WAYUK and 7 housemates from Team HIGH VOLTAGE. What we were not clear of was that the remaining four slots that would fill up the Top 14 belong to any one of the housemates regardless of the team they belong to.

The six evictees above were evicted as follows (not in particular order):

  • Naprey: On the second to the final series of individual tasks, Naprey, along with fellow WAYUK housemate Unad and two HV housemates Joya and Deniesse were put to the test and were asked a series of controversial questions involving their housemates. Unfortunately, he and Unad were kicked out of the game after Joya and Deniesse took the lead. After that day, Kuya gave the Team WAYUK housemates in the Top 10 to pick one of their fellow housemates whom they would want to save and take one of the final spots. The housemates chose Unad over Naprey, thus leading Naprey to his eviction.
  • Ryan: On the first series of individual tasks, Kuya assigned Top 10 Wayuk housemates Pamu and Kevin to pick the housemate they want to save and also pick one member of Team HV whom they feel they have no reliance on. They picked Ryan as the housemate they want to occupy one of the four slots and picked Carlo as the HV housemate whom they don’t rely on. Unfortunately on this task, that particular HV housemate was also assigned to help Pamu and Kevin bring Ryan across through an electric wire map in which the hook on Ryan’s suit must not touch the wire for two hours. Sadly, even with Carlo’s strength2, they failed the task, thus eliminating Ryan from the Top 14 run and as being a housemate in the PBB house. Likewise, Team HV with Slater and Tin as the representatives and Paco of Team Wayuk whom HV feels is the most unreliable, succeeded in this same task, saving Divine and taking the first of the four final spots.
  • Steph: The Top 10 housemates from both teams were called in to the confession room and were asked to randomly pick a box with a rose inside. The housemate who receives a black rose will remain in the confession room while the others who received red roses may exit. In Team WAYUK, Jessica received the black rose, likewise Wendy of Team HIGH VOLTAGE received the black rose. Both were asked the same question: Which one of your fellow housemates at the bottom remaining whom you feel does not deserve to be in the Top 14? Jessica chose Steph as the one housemate whom she felt did not deserve to be in the Top 14, thus ending Steph’s status as an official housemate.
  • Unad:(see Naprey’s description above) On the second chance task, because the Top 10 Wayuk housemates chose him over Naprey to take this second chance task, he and the rest of the Wayuk housemates including Eting of Team HV must balance on the air balls for an hour without falling using only their knees. Whoever keeps their balance for the longest time within the hour wins. Unfortunately, Team HV with the help of Paco of Team WAYUK kept their balance on the balls for over 14 minutes, admitting Joya to the Top 14 and eliminating Unad out of the run.
  • Jerico:(see Steph’s description above) While Jessica chose Steph as the housemate whom she felt does not deserve to be in the Top 14, Wendy chose Jerico as the housemate of Team HV whom she felt does not deserve to be in the Top 14.
  • Roy: With the HousematesQ&A task that included Joya, Deniesse, Unad, and Naprey, Roy decided to opt out from the task and surrendered himself, not wanting to take one slot over his fellow remaining housemates whom he felt deserved it more. Though Kuya was not happy with Roy’s decision to give up his run as a housemate of PBB, he decided to respect Roy’s decision, eliminating him from PBB for good.

Intensity 7 Aftershocks

Top 14 Housemates Chart (as of 01/14/12)

(as of 01/14/12)

Throughout the Intensity 7 WIPEOUT Week, we now have our Top 14 housemates remaining in PBB and will continue their run for the rest of the season with plenty of twists, turns, and surprises await for them. While we already know the Top 10 chosen by the viewers to be saved from our previous articles, the rest of the four housemates succeeded in taking the final four slots through the second phase: Big Brother Decision. These four housemates (in chronologial corder) were able to make it in the Top 14 doing the following tasks:

  • Divine:see Ryan‘s description at the 6th Eviction Night section.
  • Eting: The ukulele-playing security guard must teach Biggel and fellow security guard Seiichi how to play a simple song on a ukulele (“Sitsiritsit”) in 5 hours. Both Biggel and Seiichi succeeded with their performance, which became the key to Eting’s entry to the Top 14.
  • Joya:see Unad‘s description at the 6th Eviction Night section.
  • Deniesse: Because the Top 12 chose Joya over Deniesse for the second chance task (see Unad’s description above), Kuya gave Deniesse an individual task to build 6 intricate puzzles using Tetris-style blocks at an unlimited time. After over 9 hours, Kuya gave her a choice: she doesn’t need to finish the 6th puzzle to gain entry and take the final spot, however she can still take the final spot without finishing the puzzle, but once she decides to take this route that she will be immediately become a new member of Team WAYUK. Being loyal to Team HIGH VOLTAGE, she opted to finish the final puzzle despite her sickness and even if it takes her one more hour. After 10 hours, she was able to finish the final puzzle. Though she succeeded, her key to taking that final spot is still far from her reach:

Deniesse’s Transition to Team WAYUK

Against Deniesse’s decision of Kuya’s offer prior to finishing her task that lasted her over 10 hours, her finishing of the 6th puzzle still did not grant her the key to opening the doors to the mansion. Instead, back at the Top 13, Kuya asked the housemates from each team to pick one representative whom they think is the smartest. Wayuk chose Paco and HV chose Slater. The task that were given to the two were to complete a series of puzzles, very similar to that of Deniesse’s individual task before, but what these two were unaware of was that the formation of their first puzzle is actually a contest. The result turned out that Paco built the first puzzle while Slater hasn’t had much on his, in which Slater was asked to leave the confession room. Kuya then tells Paco that this task was another key for Deniesse to be part of the Top 14. Paco was built a second puzzle, which guaranteed Deniesse’s entry in to the mansion.

When Deniesse was called in the confession room, Kuya mentioned of the similar task between Slater and Paco. Apparently Paco won the contest and was the one who opened the door for her. This meant that because of Paco, Deniesse became automatically a new member of Team Wayuk.

Do you approve of having Deniesse transferred from Team HIGH VOLTAGE to Team WAYUK?

  • No (32%, 23 Votes)
  • Makes no difference. I still like Deniesse no matter what! (29%, 21 Votes)
  • Yes (24%, 17 Votes)
  • Makes no difference. Deniesse doesn't deserve to be part of the Top 14. (15%, 11 Votes)

The Aftershocks

It has been announced that after the intensive, stressful, and emotional Intensity 7 WIPEOUT week, there will be a few twists and changes that can affect the remaining fourteen housemates now living in the same house (mansion). At last night’s episode, the first aftershock has already been announced:

  • Aftershock #1: Aside from Deniesse, there will be one housemate from Team HV who will also be transferred to Team Wayuk.

The intention of this is to balance the number of members between two teams of seven members. The twist and the test here is if these new members from HV would become assets or liabilities for Wayuk— or face the next nomination.

Hopefully we’ll find out who this new and final member of Wayuk would be tonight or in the coming days.

Which one of the following Team HIGH VOLTAGE housemates whom you think may be transferred to Team WAYUK?
